Field Walker and Contour Walker

Field Walker

• A live, GPS-driven field mode: see your aerial map, your position on it, and every observation pin — then drop a new pin exactly where you're standing.
• Works fully offline. Pins dropped without reception queue on your device and sync automatically when you're back online.

Contour Walker

• Follow a contour line across your property in real time. Pick a target elevation and the guidance HUD — arrow, readout, and audio cues — keeps you on the line as you walk.
• Everything you need (elevation data, imagery, contours) downloads to your device beforehand, so it works with no reception.
• Shows your GPS accuracy and warns you when the underlying elevation data is too coarse for confident guidance.

Record the walked line

• Capture the actual path you walked and save it back to your map as a design line — ideal for marking out swales and access tracks on the ground.

Data safety

• A significant hardening round on how the editor saves your work: field-placed pins can no longer be overwritten by a desktop session, saves merge rather than clobber, and nightly database backups now run automatically.
