Mobile editor

• A purpose-built mobile experience: a bottom dock, swipeable sheet panels, pinch-to-zoom, and touch-first controls throughout. Add Fieldwalker to your home screen and it runs like a native app.
• Full mobile panels for Layers, Contours, Pins, and Export (via your phone's share sheet).

Observation pins and notes

• Drop numbered observation pins anywhere on your map and attach dated notes with photos — the foundation of an observe-and-record practice.
• Photos can be taken with the camera or pulled from your library, and viewed full-screen with pinch-to-zoom.
• Pins archive rather than delete, so your observation history stays intact.
• On desktop: a dedicated Pins panel with the full note thread, drag-and-drop and paste-from-clipboard for photos, hover tooltips on the canvas, and a popover for quick actions.

A new pin design

• Pins were redesigned from scratch — a distinctive chevron marker with your label and note count, which scales intelligently across zoom levels so a busy map stays readable.

Editor resilience

• If a map fails to load, the editor now tells you exactly what went wrong and offers a retry — no more silent half-loaded states.
• Deleted projects in your trash are never auto-purged; nothing is permanently removed unless you choose to remove it.
