Your free trial
When you sign up for Fieldwalker, you get a 7-day free trial with full, unrestricted access to everything — unlimited projects and maps, all export formats, no watermark, and all elevation features. No credit card required.
After the trial: Free plan
When the trial ends, your account settles into a permanent Free plan — not a lockout. You can keep using Fieldwalker for as long as you like, with these limits:
- 1 project and 1 map (image) within it.
- PNG and SVG exports are available but carry a Fieldwalker watermark: the logo, diagonally centred, plus a small “· Free plan export” footer.
- PDF export is premium-only.
- Custom DEM upload (bring-your-own elevation file) is premium-only.
- Requesting sourced high-resolution LiDAR is premium-only — but any high-resolution LiDAR already provisioned on a map keeps working for free, including its contours.
Your data is never deleted. If you had more than one project or map during the trial, the extras become locked (read-only). You choose which project and map stays active, and upgrading restores everything instantly.

To subscribe: verify your email address, go to Subscribe, and complete checkout via Stripe.
Upgrades are contextual. Instead of a blanket paywall, you'll see a friendly upgrade prompt exactly at the moment you try a premium action — creating a second project, exporting PDF, uploading a custom DEM, or requesting LiDAR. No surprises.
Managing your subscription
From the account menu, click Billing. The billing page shows your subscription status, next billing date, and a link to Manage billing (Stripe's customer portal), where you can update payment, view history, or cancel.
If your payment temporarily fails, you keep premium access while Stripe retries — you won't be dropped to Free mid-billing-cycle.
Changing your password
Go to Account. Enter your current password, then your new password (minimum 8 characters). Changing your password logs you out of all sessions.
Forgot your password
From the login page, click Forgot password? Enter your email. A reset link is sent and expires in 1 hour.
Email verification
A verification email is sent at signup. You can use Fieldwalker during the trial without verifying, but verification is required before subscribing. Resend from the Profile page if needed.
Data and privacy
Your projects, maps, designs, and observations are stored securely and never shared. Your data is never deleted — whether you're on the Free plan, the trial, or a cancelled Premium subscription, everything is always there when you come back.
Fieldwalker uses privacy-respecting analytics. No personal information is sent to the analytics service, and aerial imagery is never captured in any analytics or session recording.
